Cercis occidentalis 1

The lovely Western Redbud tree, much underused in the garden. It blooms on bare branches and leafs out in the summer. A few Rust colored pods remain when tree goes bare in Fall. March 2003 at RSABG. Photo copyright Mimi Andersen 2003.
