Yucca whipplei

Yucca whipplei is commonly known as Our Lord's Candle and named for its tall flower stalks that are creamy colored. This years rains helped these beautiful Yucca's bloom profusely throughout the Santa Monica Mountains. Photo copyright Mimi Andersen 2003.
